The 8 tours listed below are FREE and Open to the Public! Attend one, two…or all eight tours.

Attend 4 or more tours to be considered for a SCHOLARSHIP from SCTCC or SCSU!  Scholarship Registration Form available at all tour locations.  (SCTCC is offering two scholarships valued at $2,500 each.  SCSU is offering one scholarship valued at $5,000.)

AAM is a premier, global leader in design, engineering, validation and  manufacturing of driveline, metal forming, powertrain, and casting technologies with over 25,000 associates operating at more than 90 facilities in 17 countries. The St. Cloud Manufacturing Facility is part of AAM’s casting division. This facility specializes in safety critical automotive parts by using ductile iron casting. Ductile Iron Casting is a process of pouring molten iron into a sand mold to produce components. With roots going back nearly 100 years, AAM is a global leader in casting technology and the world’s largest supplier of ductile iron. We are AAM. We have the POWER to move the world. Closed toe shoes required. Other required safety equipment will be provided. Visits will last 45 minutes – 1 hour. Drawings for gift cards will take place just for attending.

Do It. Tour of Manufacturing Event. This tour will begin at Park’s flagship showroom, viewing a selection of our product line in action. The Park Industries high-precision machines have been designed, fabricated, assembled, marketed and sold across North America and Canada. See the fabricating process as you tour of state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. Closed toe shoes required.

Midsota Manufacturing has been building trailers of all shapes and sizes for over 30 years. They offer a full line of commercial and homeowner grade utility, equipment. What began as a welding company in a garage in 1971 has grown to encompass two buildings on either side of I94, the largest an 80′ x 600′ facility specializing in the manufacture of trailers, custom products and skid steer attachments.

Woodcraft Industries

Bringing with him a determination to provide the absolute best in wood craftsmanship, German furniture builder, Theodore Ritsche, immigrated to America in 1923. It was in 1945 he opened Woodcraft Industries, Inc., a small cabinet and fixture shop in St. Cloud, MN. The next half-century would see Woodcraft Industries grow to become one of the nation’s leading manufacturers of volume hardwood and laminated components. Woodcraft Industries, which was acquired in 2015 by Quanex Building Products (NX), is the largest supplier in North America of hardwood and engineered materials. They produce face frames, drawer parts, assembled doors, mouldings, and accessories used in the manufacture of residential cabinet components, office and institutional furniture, architectural millwork and building products, and store fixtures; all supplied to large OEM manufacturers on a direct basis via their manufacturing plants and seven distribution centers. Primarily using hard maple, soft maple, red oak, hickory, and cherry woods for cabinet doors, drawer fronts, and other components, they also specialize in veneer raised panels, profile wrapped components, and Rigid Thermo Foil which is a PVC film that can be manufactured to duplicate virtually any surface in any pattern, color and embossment.
